Played 18 here today with a few friends. It was my first time here. The course was in great shape. A little harder than I would have thought given the slope rating and distance. The rough (which I found plenty) was thick and punishing. The greens were quick, pass of play was not. Our round took probably 4:45. I think he meant well, but the marshall was ineffective and a bit annoying. We were behind pace, but it was because we were on the heals on the 3-4 groups ahead of us that were all backed up. We had to wait on a few tee boxes in a row, not our fault, but the marshall repeatedly 'checked on our pace' via our carts throughout the round. I would play this course again.

This public course has a friendly and professional staff, including the snack bar. Green fees are a great value given the high quality of course maintenance and the beauty of the course itself.

Overall, I was highly satisfied with this course. The fairways were in decent condition, and the greens were so fast. In fact, the green speeds are easily in the top 5 among public golf courses in the Atlanta metro area. However, the bunkers are poorly maintained. There aren't many bunkers on this course, so it's not a huge issue, but if your ball land in one of it, it's quite difficult to play out of. Additionally, there is no enforcement regarding the slow pace of play. The marshals are constantly driving around, but they don't urge slow groups to speed up, even when they are well behind the expected pace. As a result, an 18-hole round on a weekday afternoon took over 5 hours. Other than that, the pro shop staff were very kind and friendly, and the starter was great as well. It definitely deserves a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it!

Expected better…. Maybe my expectations were too high, but simple basic management skills could convert a low budget, poor quality muni course into something special. The bunkers were full of sand, but had not been raked for weeks. The cups were not cut fresh this morning and appeared 3-4 day old, which is terrible for the wear and tear of foot traffic on the greens, but especially the daily players fighting rounded out cups and poor reception of good putts. No sprinkler heads ever visible, tells this turfgrass expert the drought season simply kills these greens and the whole course in general. Tee markers not moved this morning either, making teeing off an adventure to say the least….:good luck finding some grass to hit off of on every box. Speaking of which…..no screen box to throw used broken tees into, so they litter the whole box area. No trash cans or even one flower bed on any tee boxes. Without any 150 shrubs on the course at all…..maybe invest in a few gallons of paint and put red, white and blue stripes on the cart path? The pace of play would increase two fold. No beverage cart whatsoever cruising the property, huge loss of revenue and inconvenience to the playe

A great challenging course that is fun to play. Great scenic views throughout the course. The greens are fast and firm. Inside the club house is a friendly staff and the Grill serves up daily specials cooked to order... The practice facilities are adequate.
